Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th, 1961) was an American actor. Known for her work in television and in film in the 1980s, she's been awarded numerous awards such as two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett comes born in New York New York. She was raised at Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett moved with her twin sister in St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order to be near their mother and father, who had separated from their dad. Bassett watched the James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play when she was in highschool and realized that acting is what she would like to be doing. Yale University New Haven Connecticut, where she received her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they were married. Qualification: B.A. Bachelor of Arts (Afro-American Studies) in the year 1980. An M.A. in Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett has been cast as one of the main roles of Ramonda in the action-adventure movie, i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
